Peter Rofé

President & Owner

As a voice-over artist for over 20 years, Peter is regarded as one of New York’s premier voice-over actors, coaches and producers. A former adjunct professor at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, now he is the founder PDR Voice-Over Coaching, producing voice-over demos for aspiring and veteran voice-over talent.   Teaching group classes, coaching private clients and hosting industry workshops. In addition, Peter is the co-author of the highly regarded “Voice for Hire: Launch and Maintain a Lucrative Career in Voice-Overs” with acclaimed female announcer Randy Thomas. Throughout his career, Peter has focused his attention on teaching The Art of Voice-Over.

Peter has coached some of the highest paid voice-over talent in the world as well as up and coming voice-over artists. Many of his clients have signed with top voice-over agents and have landed lucrative work in commercials, cartoons, video games, industrials, audio books and narration.

Matthew De Sando

Sound Engineer, Producer

Matthew De Sando serves as our in-house sound engineer/producer, and he has produced hundreds of fantastic reels for our clients. Prior to PDR, Matt recorded and mixed sound for film, television and music in the US and UK, working with Grammy-winning producers, writers, and artists including Usher, Mos Def, Jill Scott, Glenn Lewis and Travis Barker. He has written and taught several music production courses, and has also done studio design for large-scale production facilities as well as home studios.

Bonnie Rofé

Director of Marketing

As our Director of Marketing Bonnie works exclusively with PDR clients helping them market themselves effectively through this competitive industry with keen insight and expertise. She is also an accomplished singer/actress having appeared in professional musicals, including playing the lead role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera’s Broadway’s National Tour. In addition, Bonnie performs throughout New York State and Westchester County specializing in music performance therapy for Alzheimer’s patients and the elderly.

Chris Kind

Graphic Designer

Chris Kind is not only an actor, but also a seasoned graphic designer who owns and operates Performing Pixel and independent design studio that specializes in designing for the performing arts.  Chris works exclusively with PDR clients to design artwork for their demos and marketing materials. Chris works directly with each client to get a feel of their own unique personal styles and interests to create images that are both eye-catching and professional.

Randy Thomas

Promo & Live Announce

Acclaimed voice-over announcer and co-author of “Voice for Hire,” Randy Thomas joins Peter’s team of coaches. Randy specializes in coaching promos, live announce, radio imaging, and narrations.

Randy Thomas, America’s premiere female voice announcer, made history as the first woman to announce The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, The SAG Awards, The AFI Awards, and The Miss America Pageant to name a few. As the seven-time announcer of The Oscars, and fifteen-time Tony Award announcer, Randy Thomas has been winning accolades and opening doors for voice-over artists for over 20 years. For the past nine years she’s been heard daily by millions of people as the iconic voice of CBS Television’s “Entertainment Tonight,” one of the most watched entertainment programs in the world.

Lauren “Coco” Cohn

Kids & Teens

Lauren “Coco” Cohn is an NYU Graduate with a background in Musical Theatre and a working actor in every medium; having success on Broadway (Mamma Mia!) and Film & Television. Coco also has had great success in the voice-over world; working in both commercial advertising and animation and on the other side of the mic as well – opening and running the VO department at Hervey/Grimes Talent Agency.

Additionally, Coco spent a decade in Los Angeles writing, directing, and developing original musicals for her critically-acclaimed theatre company, Neurotic Young Urbanites; building a successful private coaching business where she worked mostly with kids and young adults and serving as on-set coach for clients on shows such as Suite Life, iCarly, and Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.

Currently, Coco is an adjunct professor at Pace University and a teaching artist at A Class Act NY.

Michel Bryant

News & Live Broadcasting

Michel Bryant comes to PDR with decades of experience in voice-over, live radio, national and syndicated television and live news broadcasting from locations around the globe. Michel began his career as a local news reporter in California and progressed rapidly to anchor and reporter for programs like Extra, A Current Affair, and the Today Show. He was a host and correspondent for Court TV, covering stories ranging from the 911 hijacker trial to the Anna Nicole Smith case in the Bahamas.

Michel also created and hosted The Legal Edge, a nationally syndicated consumer television feature that earned him two Emmy’s including “Best on Camera Host”. He continues to write, produce and appear on numerous true crime programs seen on the Investigation Discovery network and appears on various news outlets as an expert legal commentator. In addition, to his more traditional news and live broadcasting experience, Michel has been the voice talent on commercials for McDonald’s, Sprint, Traveler’s Insurance, Outback Steakhouse, and many others. As a PDR Certified coach specializing in news and live broadcasting, Michel is available both remotely and for in studio sessions.
